The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated senior Hamas commander Adham Nasman, known as Sheikh Ibrahim, in Gaza City. Nasman, a Nukhba commander who reported directly to Yahya Sinwar, was responsible for holding seven Israeli hostages underground.

Nearly three years after the October 7 massacre, Israeli forces continue tracking and eliminating terrorists involved in the attacks and hostage operations.
