Gaza reconstruction to wait until after the election...

The Shin Bet security agency cleared between 5,000 and 7,000 Palestinians for training in Egypt to serve in a new Palestinian police force for the Gaza Strip. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed officials to postpone their departure until after the election.

Gaza reconstruction efforts tied to the new police force are therefore delayed until after the vote.
