Gadi Gronich, head of the Conference of European Rabbis Foundation, stated that European Jews want a connection to Israel but that most do not seek one.

Gronich said the EU provides sympathy without effective tools to combat antisemitism and that Muslim Brotherhood financing in Europe has remained uninvestigated for years.
