The United States vowed a forceful response after Iran launched ballistic missiles at American forces in Jordan. All missiles were intercepted with no casualties reported, and the US and Saudi Arabia conducted joint strikes on Iran-backed militias in Iraq amid rising tensions over the Strait of Hormuz.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called his White House meeting with President Trump one of their best and both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. The IDF is investigating a suspected Hezbollah drone strike on an Israeli armored vehicle in southern Lebanon while announcing the destruction of a Hezbollah tunnel complex.
