The Board of Peace called on Israel to comply with the Gaza ceasefire and end kite attacks. Israeli officials warned the BoP that escalation in the Gaza Strip would follow if the launches were not stopped within 72 hours.

An Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post that activity would increase unless the attacks ceased.
