State returns to insuring cargo against war and terrorism...

The Israeli government has reinstated a program to insure cargo against war and terrorism risks through the Tax Authority's compensation fund. The measure supports continuity of imports and exports when private insurers decline coverage.

In its previous operation, the program insured cargo shipments for dozens of companies valued at more than one billion dollars.
