Saudi Arabia has appealed to France, Britain, Pakistan and Egypt for air-defense systems after its stockpile of missile interceptors dwindled during its confrontation with the Houthis in Yemen.

Two regional officials told The Associated Press that the requests were made to bolster Saudi air defenses amid the ongoing conflict.
