The IDF reopened Squadron 193, which operates Israel's maritime helicopters, on Tuesday after closing it about a year ago following the retirement of the Atalef helicopters.

Three Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk helicopters have arrived in Israel and received the Hebrew name Shalach, meaning Osprey, to replace the previous fleet.
