Bar Kupershtein returned to the Nova music festival site nine months after his release from Hamas captivity. He laid tefillin, prayed, and recited the Shema at the location where he had been abducted.

The Nova site was the scene of mass abductions and killings during the Hamas attacks of October 7, 2023.
