Bakr Awawda, ranked fourth on the Joint List, stated in a Jordanian television interview that former IDF chief Gadi Eisenkot must abandon four key principles from his campaign to form a government.

The principles include recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, committing to the Declaration of Independence, instituting mandatory national service for all citizens, and designating Hamas as a terrorist organization.
