Mohammed Nasser Abu Huwaidi was a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who posed as a journalist. Hamas and PIJ have used press vests as disguises for operatives.

Israel issued repeated warnings about the practice. Press freedom organizations have begun removing these individuals from journalist lists after admissions by the groups.
