A ransomware group called SETTRA carried out a cyberattack on Colmobil, Israel’s largest car importer. The attackers threatened to publish customers’ personal details unless a ransom was paid.

The incident disrupted Colmobil’s operations and led the Transport Ministry to block the company’s access to the vehicle-registration system.
