The Trump administration reportedly used Kurdistan Regional Government President Nechirvan Barzani as an intermediary to contact Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during May peace talks.

Sources told Axios that the White House inquired whether the IRGC had any additional demands in the negotiations.
