Ally Chemtob, a Democratic member of the New Castle, N.Y., Town Council, endorsed Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) for reelection on Monday. She cited Lawler’s relationship with the Jewish community and his record on antisemitism and Middle East policy.

Lawler represents one of the few House Republican districts that Vice President Kamala Harris won, which includes a large Jewish population.
