Knesset to High Court: Judicial-selection overhaul does not justify striking down Basic Law...

The Knesset has informed the High Court of Justice that an overhaul of the judicial selection committee does not constitute grounds for striking down a Basic Law.

The current committee includes three Supreme Court justices, two government ministers, two Knesset members, and two representatives from the Israel Bar Association.
