Kenneth Marcus, president of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, urged the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to repeal a rule requiring large employers to collect and report data on the racial, ethnic, and sex composition of their workforce.

Marcus spoke as part of a group of speakers addressing the longstanding EEOC requirement during a public session on Tuesday.
