A wildfire near the community of Afeka in the Southern Hebron Hills continues to spread rapidly through woodland and open areas.

Four firefighting aircraft are operating to contain the blaze before it reaches residential homes, with additional support teams heading to the scene. Highway 60 in the area has been closed to traffic in both directions.
