South African Zionist Federation rejects claims linking Israel to xenophobic violence

The South African Zionist Federation (SAZF) has formally denied allegations that Israel is connected to recent xenophobic violence in South Africa. SAZF Chairman Craig Pantanowitz called on government ministers to provide evidence for their claims or retract them publicly.

Pantanowitz emphasized that these accusations not only misrepresent Israel's role but also serve to distract from the real issues surrounding anti-immigrant sentiments in South Africa.
