Bank Leumi has filed a lawsuit against Meta seeking $9 million in damages. The bank claims Meta permitted fraudulent advertisements impersonating Leumi on Facebook and Instagram despite clear warning signs.

Customers lost $200,000 in the first two weeks of August alone as a result of the scams.
