Somalia’s Ministry of Defense announced that its forces, alongside international partners, killed Maalin Jinow Ibrahim, a reported co-founder of al-Shabaab and member of its central command.
The operation targeted a senior leader of the al-Qaeda-affiliated group active in Somalia.
