Tencent is in talks to acquire SuperPlay, a subsidiary of the Israeli gaming firm Playtika, in a transaction valued at up to $1.5 billion.

SuperPlay develops mobile games including Toy Blast and Toon Blast. The deal would mark a major move by the Chinese technology company into the Israeli gaming sector.
