After the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks, members of the Jewish employee resource group The Tribe at Vox Media circulated a memo alleging multiple instances of anti-Israel bias in coverage by New York magazine and Vox.

The document requested recognition of Jewish staff members' humanity and security concerns but received no response from company leadership.
