Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael have signed the "Achilles Shield" deal to supply Greece with a multi-layer air defense system. The system will provide protection against drones and ballistic missiles for the Greek military.

The agreement comes amid shifting geopolitics in the Eastern Mediterranean and is intended to counter Turkish regional influence alongside Cyprus.
