The government unit for freedom of information reported 16,896 requests submitted to Israeli ministries in 2025. The Ministry of Justice rejected the largest share of requests while the Population and Immigration Authority led in timely responses.

Thirty ministries and support units violated transparency laws and one ministry failed to file its required report.
