Check Point reported a surge in cyberattacks on Israeli organizations ahead of elections. Attacks on government organizations increased by 82% in early October, and those on energy and infrastructure more than doubled.

The company also identified suspected plans to disrupt major websites on election day and phishing campaigns targeting voters’ personal information.
