The IDF carried out strikes in Gaza that eliminated a Hamas commander who took part in the October 7 massacre. An Islamic Jihad commander accused of planning continued attacks was also killed in the operation.

The targeted individuals were identified by Israeli security forces as active participants in terrorist activities against Israel.
