US-Iran technical talks in Switzerland ended with senior negotiations opening and Washington granting 60 days of sanctions relief on Iranian oil exports. Iran is earning nearly $3 billion weekly from record exports while pushing diplomatic influence in Lebanon through a new US-Qatar-Pakistan oversight cell.

In southern Lebanon the IDF has trapped 30-40 Hezbollah fighters in a tunnel complex near Tibnit. A Jewish community member was shot and killed in Montreal.
