IRGC claims strike on former US base near Syria-Jordan-Iraq border...

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it carried out a strike on a former US base in the Al-Tanf area of Syria. The IRGC described the action as retaliation for the deaths of Iranshahr soldiers.

The targeted site lies at the Syria-Jordan-Iraq tri-border region and had been transferred to Syrian government control months earlier following the US withdrawal from the area.
