The Consulate General of Israel in Mumbai placed a moving billboard in the city thanking Captain Smit Machchhar for his actions during a flight incident.

After being stabbed by his co-pilot, the captain opened the cockpit door, enabling Israeli passengers to overpower the attacker and prevent further harm to the 174 people on board.
