Jewish Democrat Jeremy Moss defeated pro-Palestinian attorney Aisha Farooqi in a Michigan primary election. The Associated Press called the race for Moss after 74 percent of votes were counted, giving him 49.2 percent.

Moss significantly outpaced his closest rival in the contest.
