After a siege lasting nearly three months, Israeli forces have taken control of a strategic hilltop in southern Lebanon previously used by Hezbollah as a base. The site had been described as Iran’s “second front” against Israel.

Israeli troops are now razing the stronghold to establish a buffer zone along the border.
