Lansing Mayor Andy Schor, a Jewish Democrat, told CNN he is not supporting Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed. Schor said he would not consider backing the candidate without a direct conversation about El-Sayed’s rhetoric on Israel and antisemitism.

Schor expressed discomfort with some of the nominee’s statements and indicated the issue affects his willingness to offer support.
